follow the Steps provided below to install your e-mail POP3 user access settings for . . 
Microsoft Outlook Express 5 and 6

Move your mouse pointer over the image and where it turns into a hand (generally an area with red marking) click the left mouse button to go to the next screen down


To open Outlook, double click on the icon on your desktop

Or go to Start then Programs then Outlook Express
Click here for General Options

Then click Tools and click Accounts to check your mail and newsgroup settings
Click here to Check or Change SettingsClick here to Add an AccountClick here  to Check or Change Settings

In the Mail folder Tab you should not have an account set up
if this is the first time you are setting up e-mail on this computer
Remove any accounts you are not using by clicking once on the account name
- it will now be highlighted and click on the with the Remove button
If you do not have an account, click on Add to add a new mail account
Click HERE (or on the Properties button above) for instructions how to check or change settings for your existing mail account
Click here to Go to the Next Step

Enter in your Name in the field provided
Or click "Cancel" to stop the setup
Click here to Go Back a StepClick here to Go to the Next Step

Enter your email address and click Next
Click here to Go Back a StepClick here to Go to the Next Step

Set your mail servers as provided by your ISP or Mail Server Administrator - click Next

Type your username and password as provided by your ISP or Mail Server Administrator
Please Note: They are always case sensitive
in some cases you may need your complete e-mail address for the username !
Click Next
back to start

Click Finish
Now it is time to check and fine-tune our settings :

Click here for Account OptionsClick here for General Options

Again click Tools and click Accounts to check or change your mail settings
Click here for Checking SettingsClick here to Add an AccountClick here for Checking Settings

In the Mail folder Tab you should now have an account set up

If you have not already done so - Remove any accounts you are not using
by clicking once on the name and clicking on the Remove button
If you do not have an account, click on Add go back to the top to add a new mail account
Click on the Properties button above to check or change settings for your existing mail account

Set the name for your account (only you will see this),
your Name (this will be seen by the recipient of the mail)
and your email address (also in the Reply Address field
- the Reply Address does not have to be the same - BUT it MUST BE a valid e-mail address !
Click Servers to continue


The server names should be as supplied by your ISP or Mail Server Administrator :
Incoming [ POP3 ] mail server : mail.DomainName.com
(usually the Domain Name as it is after the @ in your e-mail address)

Outgoing [ SMTP ] mail server to: mail. (usually the SMTP of your dial-up ISP )
Set your username and password - Please Note: They are always case sensitive
in some cases you may need your complete e-mail address for the username !
Click Connection to continue


You can choose a dial-up account (via modem etc) or a specific LAN setting here
Or you can leave it as above Click Security to continue

Check your settnigs with the above
Click OK to exit settings

Check your settings with the above
NOTE: Generally no changes need to be made here !
Click OK to exit settings
You may like to review - or even change the General Options for Outlook Express
To do so :


Again click Tools and this time click on Options

You have now setup a new mail account in Outlook Express 5 or 6
